The good thing about what I will be doing, when I find a job, is that I can do it from anywhere. I can live anywhere I want, because I will be telecommuting. Awesome. Cause I am due a change. I have started looking around in different places. It kills me how you can rent a whole 4 bedroom house in Cape Coral for $900 a month, but a small shoebox apartment in NYC will cost you over $2k. Guess I won’t be looking for any jobs in New York!!
I have a friend who lives in NYC with his girlfriend. They were all excited to find a place in Manhattan that was under $2500 a month. He posted pictures on the forum we belong to, and OMG if I did not die a little when I saw how teensy it was. Ugh. I am not really claustrophobic, but having to live in a place that small would take care of that!! I need space, yo.
That reminds me of the skit George Carlin did on Stuff. And how your house is just a place for your stuff. Ha.
